Koicha is a thin, extremely refined matcha made from the first harvest of plants that are a minimum of 30 years old. Matcha contains high levels of antioxidants and protects cells against free radical damage. It also contains epigallocatechin gallate, a catechin that fights cancer. Place 2 teaspoons into a mug and pour 220ml of hot water or milk & enjoy. If preferred, add honey or brown sugar to taste.

They protect cells against free radicals damage & strengthen the immune system. Matcha contains epigallocatechin gallate, or ECG, a catechin known for its strong cancer-fighting properties and makes up 60 percent of the catechins found in matcha.  Place 2 teaspoons into a mug and pour 220ml of hot water or milk & enjoy. If preferred, add honey or brown sugar to taste.

    Origin: Japan Hojicha was the invention of a Kyoto tea merchant in the 1920s, who rendered green tea leaves brown by roasting sun-grown Bancha, a summer crop tea harvested after Sencha tea leaves. This process leaves the tea toasty and nutty with no bitterness. Hojicha tea is high in cancer-fighting catechins and anti-aging antioxidants. It is known for the low amounts of caffeine and tannin, making it suitable as an evening tea and also for children and elders. Earthy with a warm quality, it has a soothing, clean finish.     Origin:  China  The perfect example of a delicate Chinese spring green tea, Green Velvet Tips is a large leaf and full bodied tea that steeps to produce a beautiful light emerald liquor with a soft green richness. In dry appearance the tiny buds are offset by the darker secondary leaves which turn bright green when steeped. The refreshing vegetal aroma gives way to hints of bamboo, and its 'cloudy' appearance is a result of millions of superfine hairs from the tiny spring buds. It takes about 30,000 bud and leaf sets to make u a pound of tea, with each batch gently hand-rolled to twist and twirl the leaves into its final shape. How to Brew: Place a teabag or 1 - 2 teaspoons of loose leaves into a mug and pour 220ml of boiling water. Steep for 2-3 min. Good for multiple brews
