  • Mao Feng (Yellow Mountain Fur Peak)

    $4.90$28.00
Grown near Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), Mao Feng is a famous variety of green tea. Its English translation is “Yellow Mountain Fur Peak” due to the small white hairs which cover the leaves & the shape of the processed leaves, which resemble a mountain peak. Our Mao Feng is one of the best this season: it is small farm produce picked in early Spring, where only the new tea buds and the one leaf next to the bud are picked, with the resulting picked leaves resembling delicate orchid buds. Place a teabag or a teaspoon into a mug and pour 220ml of simmering water. Alternatively, let boiling water cool for 1 minute before steeping. Steep for 2 min & enjoy. Good for multiple brews
