Green Velvet Tips (毛尖) – Out of Stock

    $4.90$38.00
Origin:  China  The perfect example of a delicate Chinese spring green tea, Green Velvet Tips is a large leaf and full bodied tea that steeps to produce a beautiful light emerald liquor with a soft green richness. In dry appearance the tiny buds are offset by the darker secondary leaves which turn bright green when steeped. The refreshing vegetal aroma gives way to hints of bamboo, and its 'cloudy' appearance is a result of millions of superfine hairs from the tiny spring buds. It takes about 30,000 bud and leaf sets to make u a pound of tea, with each batch gently hand-rolled to twist and twirl the leaves into its final shape. How to Brew: Place a teabag or 1 - 2 teaspoons of loose leaves into a mug and pour 220ml of boiling water. Steep for 2-3 min. Good for multiple brews
